What are they, like, $40?


“Foreshadowing” is a technique that occurs within a narrative work; “presaging” or “anticipating” might apply in the progression, of an individual artist (or “auteur”) from one work to others, within the same ouevre.



Saying the movie has “political pretensions” means the movie is trying to make some sort of political point(s); saying it has “political aspirations,” however, means that it’s planning on running for office.
